You can connect your own mp3 player or phone to play music in several rooms or use our CD player to play CDs from a large classical music collection. The main level has 1800 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom is located on this level and has a king size bed, walk-in closet, and master bathroom with a shower and a whirlpool tub. There is also a small bedroom with 2 toddler beds and a large pack 'n play that can be used as a crib. Besides the bedrooms, there is also a large modern kitchen, mudroom, laundry room, 1/2 bathroom, and large living/dining area with wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceiling that is 30 ft to the peak of the roof. From the open living/dining area, you can walk out to a screened-in porch that overlooks the valley. This entire main level is accessible from the garage with no steps required. On the upper level, there is 900 sq ft of living space. There is a bathroom with a shower. Next to the bathroom are two different bedrooms. Both bedrooms are enclosed with a door and walls, but two of the walls do not go completely to the vaulted ceiling. Please see picture #12. One bedroom has a queen size bed and desk and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds and dresser. There is also a loft reading area with a large selection of books, game room with card games/board games/puzzles/dvd player/Nintendo. The lower level is a partially finished 1800 sq ft walk-out basement with a large bedroom with 3 beds (twin bed and bunk bed), walk-in closet, bathroom with tub/shower, large play room with toys and mini basketball hoops, and large open room with TV/keyboard/puzzles. The storage room is locked and not available for use. From the walk-out basement, you can access a concrete patio which is underneath the screened-in porch. There is an outdoor fire pit near the patio. Our property has a variety of things to do outside: deck with Traeger wood pellet grill, screened-in porch, outdoor fire pit, trails through the woods, large playground equipment, large grass areas to play soccer/kickball/football/baseball, large concrete area with basketball hoop, and hills for sledding. It is quite common to see wildlife on our property, including deer or turkey. The house and property are very peaceful and quiet due to its remote location. It is between 15 - 30 miles to Monmouth, Galesburg, or Macomb. Please note that the property is located on a county maintained gravel road.

A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail" the first treehouse here, You will find in this Nautical inspired creation. This treehouse will be twice as big as the first (400 sq ft.) and features a full second story master bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator w/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink! Upon entering the treehouse you are treated to the huge map of the world as you look up in the 13' vaulted entryway. A small window seat area creates a cozy reading area with a small collection of old books to explore! The wrap around deck with gas grill provides a laid back environment to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding forest! The second floor bedroom includes 10' vaulted ceiling which provides plenty of Windows for 360 degree views of the forest from the comfort of the queen sized bed, step out on to the balcony which features a whimsical 'outhouse' with year round compost toilet and a outdoor hot water shower while giving you a 360 degree view of the surrounding forest nearly 30' off the ground! NOV-APR the water may be shut off due to winter weather which is reflected in the lower winter rate. Stay in a legitimate piece of American history, the Fort Henry log cabin is a nearly 200 year old White Oak log cabin original erected at the trappers outpost of Fort Henry, Missouri about 1830! The town of Fort Henry, named after Dr. Henry Fort, was an active community circa 1817 - 1853. This is a one room log cabin features a wood burning fireplace, with small sitting area, queen sized bed, with a sleeping loft with another queen sized bed. microwave, coffee maker, a composting toilet outhouse, and outdoor heated shower, completes the pioneer log cabin experience!!

This historic home was built in the 1840's on Hyrum and Mary Fielding Smith's farm ground. The home had an addition in brick added in the 1860's during the Civil War years. Then the home received a third addition, including a modern kitchen and additional bathrooms over one hundred years later. This beautiful vacation home is now a combination of historic and antique brick, trim, plaster, doorways and hinges as well as modern luxuries and room to enjoy all of it indoors or out! The home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining/family room area, a den and a large game room. It has a large patio over looking the old barn and working farm fields, with sprawling grass, room to run and it sits across the street from a Nauvoo City Park.

The basement has a full laundry room with washer and dryer.

This historic home is just seven blocks from the temple and sleeps up to ten comfortably. Rufus Abbott started building this home in 1839 and finished it in 1845 just before his family left with Brigham Young to travel to Salt Lake City in February 1846. This home feels and looks like what it may have in the 1840’s thus letting you ‘Sleep Where the Pioneer’s Slept’. The original pioneer brick home has three bedrooms (two upstairs) and an old fashioned parlor with library, collectible curio cabinet, historic fireplace and mantle, and a queen size sofa sleeper. A nice place to visit and converts to a bedroom with the pull-out sofa. The historic kitchen has the original fireplace where meals were cooked, in addition to modern appliances added to the other side of the kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen is the windowed sun-porch overlooking the expansive yard where guests eat at the dining table. The sun porch also contains a breakfast bar with toaster and microwave for our guests. The master suite is on the main level in a 1903 addition to the original brick home. This large suite has a king size bed, full-size sofa sleeper, armoire, and 32” flat screen TV. Adjacent to it is the downstairs bathroom with shower/tub combination. Up the wide pioneer stairs are two bedrooms, each with queen size beds and fireplaces, plus flat screen TVs for modern comfort. One has an antique dresser and armoire, plus a pioneer stairway to the attic where antique chairs and furnishings are stored away. This bedroom also has a cozy bathroom with tub/shower combination. Recent remodeling included new paint, rugs and furnishings throughout this home. All utensils, dishware, linens, and towels are provided. A washer & dryer are also provided for guest use. High speed internet is available as well. This genteel old lady was built in 1842 and she has good bones! The house is in the middle of all that historic Nauvoo has to offer, with the added benefit of being across the street from Dollar General and Casey's pizza. As with most old houses there is one bathroom which is clean and spacious. All of the furnishings are new. There is a large and inviting living room with plenty of space to spread out. There are three bedrooms - one very large - that are all tastefully furnished and have new mattresses. The biggest bedroom can hold more sleepers if needed. The smallest bedroom (the 'Toblerone' room) is ideal for our littlest guests with its quirky shape and fort-like possibilities. There is an outside deck where you can watch life go by but perhaps not in the winter. There is a laundry room on the main floor. There are two parking spaces and additional on-street parking. On a more sentimental note are are some original Nauvoo temple stones incorporated into the building as door lintels and window sills. A gentle reminder that there is no smoking, vaping, alcohol or drugs permitted. Please do not bring your pets.
